Privacy Policy for Photo Utility Mediet Studio

Scope
This policy describes the Android application's behavior supported by the inspected source and Store listing. The supplied App content summary leaves collection, sharing, advertising, encryption in transit, deletion-request availability, and intended age groups unspecified.
Information accessed and stored
When you choose images through Android's system file picker, the app reads the selected files and creates copies in its private application storage. It does not request broad photo-library access or camera access in the inspected source.
The app processes image pixels and reads file names, dimensions, format, file size, EXIF orientation, and available camera model and capture date. Imported copies can retain metadata embedded in the original image, including location information if present. The app does not request device location access.
The app stores imported images, saved output images, a local image index, image details, per-image editing settings, and export preferences. Preferences include default format, quality, and whether to preserve basic camera metadata. Preview images and editing history are also held in memory while you work.
Purposes and collection
This information supports resizing, compression, cropping, rotation, flipping, format conversion, previews, comparisons, pixel-color sampling, batch processing, and reopening local projects. Core image processing takes place on your device and requires no account.
The inspected implementation does not upload images or editing settings to a developer-operated service. No analytics, remote crash-reporting, or advertising SDK was identified in the inspected source and declared dependencies. Operational errors are written to Android's local system logs; these may include technical error details and are not sent to a remote reporting service by the inspected implementation.
Exports, metadata, and clipboard
Exports are written to a destination you choose through Android's system interface. Batch exports are written as ZIP files, and individual results are also kept in the app's Saved collection. A destination provider you select may store files locally or through its own cloud service, under its own privacy practices.
Metadata preservation is off by default. When enabled, JPG exports may retain camera make, model, and capture date. Exported images exclude location metadata; PNG and WebP exports contain the processed pixels without copied source metadata. This does not remove metadata from imported source copies.
When you select Copy color, the app writes the displayed sampled color values to the system clipboard. Clipboard handling and access depend on your operating system and settings.
Sharing and third-party components
When you choose Share for a saved image, Android's share menu lets you select a receiving app. The app gives that recipient read access to the selected output file. The recipient may receive its contents, file name, size, and any metadata retained in the output. Its subsequent handling is governed by that recipient's practices.
The app uses Android platform services, Jetpack Compose, and Kotlin libraries. No third-party advertising or analytics integration was identified. The Android manifest nevertheless declares Internet and advertising-ID permissions. A permission declaration alone does not establish collection: no advertising-ID access or advertising behavior was identified in the inspected implementation.
The application also contains an embedded WebView intended to display terms and privacy content. That view is not shown in the inspected default launch flow. If displayed with a reachable web page, loading it would involve network communication with the page's host. The inspected evidence does not establish that host's collection or retention practices.
Android backup
The Android application enables backup. Depending on Android's backup rules, device settings, and backup provider, app files and preferences may be included in operating-system backup or restoration. Local image processing does not exclude this separate system-controlled behavior.
Security
Imported images, saved results, and preferences are stored in the app's private Android storage. The sharing provider is not publicly exported and grants access to selected saved outputs through Android URI permissions. These measures restrict ordinary access but do not guarantee security.
No app-specific encryption of stored files was identified. Core editing does not transmit images to an app service, and the available evidence does not establish encryption in transit for external destinations, backup providers, or web content.
Retention and deletion
Imported copies, saved results, the image index, and preferences remain locally available across app sessions. No automatic retention period or scheduled deletion was identified.
Use Remove local copy in Library or Saved to delete the corresponding app-stored image and remove its visible record. This does not delete the original selected file, separately exported files, files shared with other apps, or backup copies. Per-image editing preferences may remain after an individual image is removed.
Clear temporary cache only targets temporary preview files; it does not remove imports, saved images, or preferences. You can use Android's clear-app-storage controls to remove local app data. Uninstalling ordinarily removes local application data, while exported files and system backups may remain. Manage those copies through the relevant file destination, recipient, or backup service.
Privacy and deletion requests may be directed to contact@kiwipowersp.com. The inspected app has no account-based or remote deletion-request feature, and no developer-held image repository was identified.
Children's privacy
The supplied information does not specify intended age groups or establish that the app is directed to children. No child-specific collection, account system, or parental-consent process was identified. Selected photos may contain personal information about children and are handled through the same local editing and user-initiated export features described above.
Policy changes
This policy should be updated when the application's data handling changes. The inspected implementation does not establish a dedicated policy-change notification mechanism.
