Scope
This policy describes how PDF Mediet Workshop handles information when you view, combine, split, extract, rotate, reorder, organize, save, and share PDF documents. The app processes PDFs on your device and does not require an account.
Information Accessed and Stored
When you select PDFs through Android’s document picker, the app reads the selected files and copies them into its private local library. PDF contents may include personal or confidential information, depending on the documents you choose.
The app stores imported PDFs, newly created PDFs, and a local document index. The index includes filenames, internal file identifiers, page counts, file sizes, dates added, folder labels, processing operations, and recent-opening timestamps. It also reads and stores available document details, including page dimensions, title, author, subject, creator, and creation and modification dates.
The app stores your starting zoom, sorting preference, and export filename prefix locally. Search terms and page-editing selections are used to provide the current app experience; no transmission of these inputs to the developer is implemented in the inspected source.
Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked before importing. The app does not provide a password-entry feature or store PDF passwords.
How Information Is Used
Document information is used to render pages, display document details, search and sort the library, organize documents into named groups, and create PDFs from your selected documents and pages. Recent-opening timestamps support the recent-documents display and sorting. Saved preferences customize viewing and export behavior.
The inspected application does not implement developer-operated document uploads, account registration, analytics reporting, or remote crash reporting. PDF processing takes place locally rather than on a developer-operated server.
Saving, Sharing, and Third Parties
PDFs remain in the local library until you remove them or the app’s local data is cleared. When you save a PDF, Android’s document picker lets you choose its destination. A destination may be local storage or a document service you have configured. If you select a cloud-backed provider, that provider handles the saved file under its own practices.
When you choose Save & share, the app saves the PDF to your chosen destination and opens Android’s sharing interface. The receiving app is granted read access to the selected saved file. Sharing may disclose the full PDF contents and any metadata retained in the file. Receiving apps and services handle that information under their own privacy policies.
The app uses PDFBox Android for local PDF processing and Android’s PDF rendering features for page display. Other declared libraries support the interface and local execution. No advertising or analytics SDK is declared in the inspected application dependencies, and no advertising display or advertising-ID access is implemented in the inspected source. The Android manifest nevertheless declares advertising-ID permission; that declaration alone does not establish that the identifier is collected or used.
Android Backup
The application enables Android backup and does not define custom backup exclusions in the inspected manifest. Depending on your device, Android version, and backup settings, local app files and preferences may be included in operating-system backup or device-transfer services. Those services operate under their providers’ settings and privacy practices.
Internet Access and Policy Display
The app declares internet permission and includes a WebView intended to display a terms and privacy page. The inspected entry point opens the PDF workspace by default. If a remotely hosted page is loaded, its host may receive ordinary connection information, such as an IP address and browser request details. The inspected source does not establish the host’s logging, cookie, or retention practices. The PDF-processing features do not implement document uploads through this WebView.
Security
Library documents are stored in the app’s private internal storage, and selected documents are accessed through Android’s document picker. Sharing uses Android’s file-access permission mechanism. The app does not implement additional encryption for its local PDF files or preferences; device-level protections depend on Android and your device settings.
The app can write PDF-operation and rendering errors to Android’s diagnostic logs. No remote transmission of those logs is implemented in the inspected source.
No security measure guarantees complete protection. Transfers through external document providers, sharing apps, backup services, or web pages depend on those services. The available evidence does not establish encryption in transit for every such transfer.
Retention and Deletion
There is no automatic expiration period implemented for library PDFs, their index, or saved preferences. They remain locally until deleted or until app data is removed.
Use a document’s Delete action to remove its local library copy and associated index entry. This does not delete the original file from its source, separately saved exports, files already shared with another app, or backup copies. Manage those copies through the relevant storage provider, receiving app, or backup settings.
You can remove the app’s local documents and settings by clearing its storage through Android settings or uninstalling it. Backup restoration may restore previously backed-up data, depending on your system settings.
The app has no account-deletion workflow or developer-operated document repository identified in the inspected source. For privacy or deletion inquiries, use contact@kiwipowersp.com. The developer cannot directly delete files held only on your device or by services you choose.
Children’s Privacy
The available information does not establish a specific intended age group or a separate service for children. The inspected app does not request a user’s age or implement accounts or remote collection of children’s information. Documents selected by a user may contain information about children and are handled in the same way as other PDFs described in this policy.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the app or its data practices. Review the policy made available with the app for updates.
